Orla and Ruairi’s Wedding at Villa Eva, Ravello

Orla and Ruairi came to me with a clear idea for their destination wedding: an intimate celebration that felt relaxed and refined. They were drawn to Italy, and Ravello’s setting above the Amalfi Coast captured their hearts.
They wanted to bring their favourite people together for a celebration that reflected their relationship and the place they had chosen.
Why They Chose One Fine Day
Planning abroad involves many decisions, from choosing suppliers to helping guests reach the venue. Orla and Ruairi wanted someone to bring those details together while keeping their ideas at the centre.
Together, we shaped a wedding that felt personal, with a clear plan for the ceremony, reception and guest experience.
A first look with her father
A Catholic ceremony at Ravello’s Duomo
Their traditional Catholic ceremony took place in the Duomo in Ravello’s town square. The bridal party walked through the cobbled streets, greeted by congratulations and calls of “Auguri” from people in the cafés.
Aperitivo in the town square
After the ceremony and confetti, everyone gathered in the square for prosecco and aperitivo. Guests then walked through town to Villa Eva, while the couple enjoyed some time together for photographs.
Time for photographs
While the guests enjoyed the music and aperitivo at the reception venue, the couple slipped away for a quiet walk through Ravello’s cobbled streets and photographs in the grounds of Belmond Hotel Caruso.

Orla and Ruairi rejoined their guests for drinks and canapés in Villa Eva’s gardens, followed by a five-course dinner filled with conversation and laughter.
